Romeo V. Turcan (født 24. april 1970) er professor ved Aalborg University Business School. Hans forskningsområde er oprettelse og legitimering af nye sektorer og nye organisationer; sen-globalisering, de-globalisering, de-internationalisering; bobler, kollektiv opførsel; internationalt entreprenørskab med stor indflydelse; og tværfaglig teoribygning[1].
Uddannelse og karriere

Turcan er uddannet i maskinteknik ved Air Force Engineering Military Academy (ru), Riga, Letland (1992) og filologi ved Department of Post-University Studies, Moldova State University, Chisinau, Moldova (1995)[2]. I 2000 modtog han sin MSc i International Marketing fra the Department og Marketing, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK og i 2006 modtog han sin Ph.d. i Internationalt Entreprenørskab fra the Hunter Center for Entrepreneurship, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK[3][4].
Før han begyndte sin akademiske karriere, arbejdede Romeo i en række stillinger, der involverede offentlig politisk intervention i omstrukturering, rationalisering og modernisering af erhvervslivet og den offentlige sektor såsom olie, militær højteknologi, ledelsesrådgivning, IKT og videregående uddannelse[5][6][7][8][9]. Desuden er han medstifter og tidligere direktør for International Association of Business and Parliament–Moldova[4].
Han har også været medlem af diverse bestyrelser herunder bestyrelsen for Enterprise and Parliamentary Dialogue International, London, UK (2013-2019) og bestyrelsen for The International Society of Markets and Development (2019-). Han er formand for Organization of Moldovans in Denmark[10].
På nuværende tidspunkt er han projektkoordinator for ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership project (2019-2023) og H2020 Marie S. Curie project (2020-2024). Derudover er han stifter og koordinator for Theory Building Research Programme (2012-)[11].
