Diskussion:Bieniek-Face
Sletningsforslag: Sebastian Bieniek
I propose that this article be deleted for reasons of self promotion, questionable notability, and lack of reliable sources. As of today, this article has been written and maintained almost entirely by these six accounts: Kopenhavensons, Hamm-Ging, Susanne Hyberneth, Hansi-Klump, Richard Smith567, Emilhesk. Except for the last wo accounts, these accounts have already been blocked globally, as they belong to a ring of 33 sockpuppets discovered on the German Wikipedia after an extensive investigation. All 33 sockpuppets were found to be operated by one person. As some of these accounts have been used to upload pictures by Bieniek himself to Commons, it stands to reason that Bieniek has written this article all by himself, using fake identities over the course of almost ten years, spamming 44 different language versions of Wikipdia including the Danish Wikipedia. Richard Smith567 and Emilhesk are most certainly also sockpuppets of Bieniek, but as they did not edit on the German Wikipedia, they have not been blocked yet per policy.
Policies against sockpuppetry and COI editing aside, all Bieniek articles are like a balloon full of hot air. The majority of statements are sourced to Bieniek's website, mentions on 3rd party media are treated as if the article concerned itself only with Bieniek, his 5 minutes of fame are extended ad nauseam, projects from film school are treated like blockbusters, etc. These articles are nothing but blatant self-advertising and puffery. I see no valid reason for anyone to waste their time checking up on sources, thus rewarding the breach of policy and cheating. For this very reason, these promotional articles have already been deleted in the English-language Wikipedia, the French-language Wikipedia, the Italian-language Wikipedia and the German-language Wikipedia. I suggest the same approach here. These same reasons apply to Bieniek-Face as well. --Minderbinder (diskussion) 30. aug 2019, 12:04 (CEST)
- Slet - Som argumenteret.

:) --Inc (diskussion) 22. sep 2019, 00:06 (CEST) |
