Fra Wikipedia, den frie encyklopædi

The Via1-Cassette is a consumable used in automated image based cell counting. It functions as a single use pippette that aspire cells from suspension into the mixing channels and up to the measuring chamber where the automated cell counter can analyse the sample.

The cassette are preloaded in the mixing channels with immobilized acridine orange for a total stain and DAPI for non-viable, which stains all cell nuclei. These are used to define the total number of cells and dead cell populations.

It has a pre laser calibrated volume chamber which makes it possible to analyse a total volume of 1.4 µL sample stained with the fluorescent dyes that are mixed homogeneous into the measuring chamber via the mixing channels.

People working with numerous procedures within biology and medicine who are counting cells, examples.: Lab Technicians, Researchers, Biologists etc.
